We collect information you provide directly to us when placing an order or contacting customer support. This includes your name, delivery address, phone number, payment information, and date of birth for age verification purposes, as required by the Licensing Act 2003. We also collect device information, IP addresses, and usage data to improve our services.
IMPORTANT NOTICE

2. Age Verification & ID Data

AlcoDrop is an age-restricted service available only to individuals 18 years of age or older. We apply a Challenge 25 policy in compliance with UK licensing law. We collect and verify age-related information at checkout and upon delivery. Our delivery drivers check valid government-issued photo ID for every order. We do not retain copies of government-issued IDs.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (UK GDPR)

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, we process your personal data on the following lawful bases: contract performance (to fulfil your order), legal obligation (age verification and licensing compliance under the Licensing Act 2003), legitimate interests (fraud prevention and service improvement), and consent (marketing communications, where applicable).

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to process and deliver your orders, verify your identity and age as required by UK law, communicate with you about your orders, send promotional offers (with your explicit consent), comply with legal obligations including HMRC and licensing requirements, prevent fraud, and improve our platform and services.

5. Payment Information

Payment card information is processed through our secure payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment data on our servers. All payment data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3. We comply with PCI DSS standards.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with delivery partners to fulfil your order, payment processors to handle transactions, identity verification services as required by UK law, and law enforcement, HMRC, or regulatory authorities (including licensing authorities) when required by applicable UK legislation.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Order records are retained for up to 7 years for tax and HMRC compliance. Age verification records are retained in accordance with licensing requirements. You may request deletion of your data subject to legal retention obligations.
