TERMS & CONDITIONS

The rules of the drop. Read carefully before placing an order.

Effective Date: 1 January 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the AlcoDrop platform, website, or mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our service. These terms apply to all users, including browsers, customers, and merchants. AlcoDrop Ltd is registered in England and Wales.
IMPORTANT NOTICE

2. Age Restriction — You Must Be 18+

AlcoDrop sells and delivers alcoholic beverages exclusively to individuals who are 18 years of age or older, in compliance with the Licensing Act 2003 and the Alcohol etc. (Scotland) Act 2010. By using our service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. You must provide accurate age information during checkout. AlcoDrop reserves the right to cancel any order if age cannot be verified.
IMPORTANT NOTICE

3. Challenge 25 Policy & ID Verification

AlcoDrop operates a strict Challenge 25 policy. If our delivery driver believes you may be under 25, they are required by law to ask for valid, government-issued photo ID — a UK driving licence, passport, or PASS-accredited proof of age card. If you cannot produce valid ID, the order will not be delivered and a restocking fee may apply. This policy is non-negotiable and required under UK licensing law.
IMPORTANT NOTICE

4. No Sale to Intoxicated Individuals

AlcoDrop expressly prohibits the delivery or sale of alcohol to any individual who appears to be intoxicated at the time of delivery. Our delivery drivers are trained to recognise signs of intoxication and are empowered to refuse delivery in line with the Licensing Act 2003 and the Mandatory Licensing Conditions. This is a mandatory policy required by UK law.

5. Order Processing & Delivery

Orders are processed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year across the UK. Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on demand, weather, traffic, and other factors. Average delivery time is approximately 22 minutes from order confirmation. AlcoDrop is not liable for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

6. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable, in accordance with UK law. A £4.99 Late Night Run Fee is charged on all orders to cover 24/7 operational costs. Prices may change without notice. Payment is charged at the time of order placement. We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your order within 5 minutes of placement for a full refund. After 5 minutes, orders cannot be cancelled as they may already be in preparation or transit. Refunds for damaged, incorrect, or missing items are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@alcodrop.uk within 24 hours of delivery. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our service to purchase alcohol for resale, to supply alcohol to persons under 18, to circumvent age verification, to engage in fraudulent transactions, or for any purpose prohibited by the Licensing Act 2003, the Alcohol etc. (Scotland) Act 2010, or any other applicable UK legislation. Violations may result in permanent account termination and referral to the relevant licensing authority.

9. Responsible Service & Drinkaware

AlcoDrop is committed to responsible alcohol service. We encourage all customers to drink responsibly and within UK Chief Medical Officers' guidelines. For free, confidential support with alcohol issues, contact Drinkaware at drinkaware.co.uk, or call Alcoholics Anonymous on 0800 9177 650 (free, 24/7). Please do not drink and drive.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable UK law, AlcoDrop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you are resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case the laws and courts of that jurisdiction shall apply.

12. Changes to These Terms

AlcoDrop reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time in accordance with applicable UK law. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we will provide 30 days advance notice via email.
